The Oasis Project

We provide practical care and training and emotional and spiritual support in a community cafe setting., helping people to build a future and bring hope to lives in crisis.

We work with our associated project, Plymouth Foodbank and the church at Plymouth Central Hall 

We encourage people to develop new skills through a community music group and art groups, or by becoming volunteers and helping in the kitchen, café, or food bank warehouse.

There is always something going on—a weight reduction group or a time bank helping people share skills. Come in for a chat, and if we can't provide what you are looking for, we may know who can.

Examples of our courses include:

• Art: Try your hand at a variety of crafts and art. No prior experience is necessary.
• English: Develop your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Entry Level 1 and Level 2.
• IT: Friendly supportive tuition. From how to turn on a computer to shopping online,. Basic IT is for anyone who is scared of computers but has realised it is essential in today's world.
• Maths: Scared of numbers? Come and let Robert guide you to success. Entry Level 1 and Level 2.
• Healthy Cooking: Eat well, spend less.
• Job Club: Need help with updating or creating a CV or looking to job search? Come along!
