Plymouth Home for Veterans

Our home in Plymouth currently provides support for up to seven people.

When you arrive, you will be introduced to your key worker, who will work with you to agree on a support plan based on your individual needs. Our team can help you access other appropriate agencies, including counselling services, drug and alcohol agencies, support groups, CAB, and NHS services, wherever necessary.

The houses are within walking distance of local amenities and bus services to the city centre, where you'll find bowling, a cinema, a theatre, and sports centres. The marine aquarium and the historical Plymouth Hoe are all within easy walking distance from the house.

Within our Plymouth Homes for Veterans, you can access the training and skills you need for independent living, including budgeting, healthy eating, shopping, and life skills. Training courses are also available through the local Learn Direct centre. You can stay within our Plymouth Homes for Veterans for a maximum of 1 year before moving on to your own independent accommodation or transferring to our Veterans Move On accommodation.

We will also help you when it comes to moving into your own home. This will include supporting you in finding the right home for you and helping you with the practical tasks of setting up your new home. We can also keep in contact with you through your first few months while you find your feet.

We accept referrals to our Plymouth Homes for Veterans from local support agencies, the Royal British Legion, local prisons, and other charities. If you think our homes could be right for you, you can also refer yourself, so please get in touch.
