Art Therapy is available for both children and adults at the studio in Plymouth. It is a form of psychotherapy that is known to be a gentle way of treating trauma and various emotional struggles including:
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Emotional/behavioural difficulties
- Family issues
- Experience of abuse
- Self-harm and suicidal thoughts
- Depression and anxiety
- Major life changes
- Past trauma
- Loss of control, confusion and uncertainty
- Mental health struggles.
The Art Therapist is registered with Health and Care Profession's Council (HCPC) and is a Recognised Private Practitioner/Supervisor of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT).
