Rails, ramps and stair lifts

Register as a carer

If you're over 18 and look after a partner, family member, or friend with an illness or disability, you can ask for a carer's assessment.

By being on our register we can keep you informed of what services are available and how you can get involved if you want to.

Relationships

Caring can place a big strain on families. Carers sometimes say that friends and family disappear once caring begins.

Reminders and guidance to help you complete daily tasks

Staying independent and managing daily tasks can become more challenging as we age. For older adults, forgetting appointments, struggling to remember medication routines, or feeling overwhelmed by daily chores can be common concerns.

Requesting support and self-assessments

Self-assessments help you identify the areas where you might be eligible for social care and support. At the end of the form, you have the option of making a referral and requesting a formal assessment. You can complete the form for yourself or on behalf of someone else.
