As a central part of the Pennycross community, the school is a natural hub for not only children and families but the wider school community. We pride ourselves on the strong links we have within the local area, for example, St. Pancras Church.

Children at Pennycross Primary are 'Free to Fly' and therefore are encouraged to reach their full potential.

Pennycross Primary is committed to safeguarding our pupils, and safeguarding our pupils is everyone's responsibility.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed, and myself or one of the senior leaders will happily take you on a tour of the school.

Children at Pennycross Primary School are 'Free to Fly' and therefore are encouraged to reach their full potential. Pennycross Primary School promotes the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and other additional needs. We understand children with SEND can be vulnerable; therefore, we take our role in safeguarding their well-being seriously. As part of this provision, we endeavour to provide for pupils with additional needs as early as possible, improving the outcomes for all our learners by providing a high-quality academic education alongside a broad and balanced curriculum. We are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils, whatever their needs or abilities, through staff training and pupil-centred interventions. We worked in partnership with parents by creating a culture of trust and listening to ensure effective communication between home and school.

Plymouth uses an orange 'Local Offer icon' to show services that define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Plymouth's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
