ScrumKids Plymouth

Fun-based rugby sessions for the youngest members of the rugby community. Our aim is to build a love for the game and get kids active and engaged with sports.

Now in Plymouth on Saturday mornings at the Lipson Co-Operative Academy.

Our rugby classes focus on getting children active, building a love for the game, and most importantly, having fun. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality rugby sessions at a competitive price.

Our expertise helps to build confidence, agility, social skills, and a basic rugby ability in a passionate, highly energetic environment. Sessions are held across the UK, and we are always looking to expand into new areas.

No class is ever the same; games are varied and based around a different theme each week, ensuring children are engaged and active, but most importantly, having fun.

Everyone is given the opportunity to shine in a fun, safe, and relaxed environment. Crucially, ScrumKids is an introduction to a team environment, the famous rugby values, and a chance to develop those all-important social skills.

Sessions

Scrum Toddlers

Scrum Toddlers is for our very youngest rugby stars, aged between two and three years old. Sessions are shortened to 30 minutes to get the most out of fleeting attention spans, and children use soft balls to learn the basic techniques for handling and kicking.

Scrum Juniors

Scrum Juniors is for children aged between three and four years old who are ready for a further challenge. Sessions are 40 minutes long, and the children use our specially designed size 2.5 unique ScrumKids balls to develop and showcase their skills.

Scrum Seniors

Scrum Seniors is for the oldest of our children, and we take them from four years old and above. At the age of seven, we try to engage the children with local rugby clubs wherever possible to send them on the next stage in their rugby journey in a team environment.
