There are 4 staff members who work in the club; volunteers are also encouraged to join. Currently,  we have only one volunteer who assists with the day-to-day activities.

While some members are independent and are able to come on their own, others may require additional assistance or care and will need to be accompanied by a helper or carer.

The reason for this is simple: a large part of the Orbit staff duties is to entertain the members, which is what makes this club so special: its entertainment value.

The activities that are available include a live music session with singing and dancing, karaoke, and playing percussion instruments. Anyone who wishes to can join in, including carers. We have bingo and a wide variety of table games, which include table skittles, darts, pool, Jenga, and the Tin Can Alley game, which is a big favourite with a lot of orbit club user's. On the other hand, anyone can simply do their own thing if they so wish, such as drawing, playing dominoes, jigsaw puzzles, and other table games, or just socialising and having a chat with friends.

Everyone who comes for the day will need to bring a packed lunch, but there is tea and biscuits also available on arrival.
