Hearts Together Charity, based in Plymouth, provides accommodation and wraparound support services for patients, carers, relatives, and healthcare professionals when away from home, as well as health and wellbeing services for the local communities we serve.

Recognising the unpredictability of health-related stays, we provide flexibility and understanding, developing our support services to meet the changing and individual needs of our guests. This includes prioritising flexibility in our booking procedures, accommodating changes, anticipating the need for extended stays, and helping to provide stability for our families during uncertain times. All of our additional support services are created to help alleviate the worries and stresses faced when staying away from home, from simple aspects such as parking, transport, and laundry to crucial elements like food service and mental health support.

Here at Hearts Together Charity we provide accommodation, transport, counselling, and peer support services to guests at our local hospital hotel facility based in Blunts Lane, Derriford.

Our charity hotel is located a 5-minute walk from Derriford Hospital.

We support healthcare professionals, students/trainees, friends, family and carers of those receiving treatment at local hospitals, including the DDRC and Nuffield Health.

Hearts Together is located just a stone's throw away from Derriford Hospital, Nuffield Hospital, and the Hyperbaric Treatment Centre. We offer a range of bedrooms, including single, twin, and family rooms.

There are 26 rooms in total and each has its own private en-suite bathroom. Once you are checked in, Hearts Together is accessible to you 24 hours a day, giving you full flexibility to come and go as you need to. There are two self-serve communal dining / lounge facilities where you can make and store food.

Our reception is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday and from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday. If you need to check-in outside of these times please call us to make special arrangements.

A member of staff is on call overnight for any emergency stays where patients/relatives are admitted to hospital during the night. Please call the main contact number: 01752 315 900 and a member of staff will be on hand to assist you.

Hearts Together is open for bookings from anyone who is working as a healthcare professional or who is studying a healthcare course, for example a trainee nurse or an individual updating their qualifications at DDRC.
