Woodland Villa Care Home

Registered nurses manage the nursing unit 24 hours a day and are supported by care support staff that have received training in providing care safely.

The home is on the outskirts of Plymouth city centre and is on the bus route. There is also access to local amenities.

We have a selection of comfortable bedrooms, all of which are fitted with nurse call systems, TV and telephone points, and personal washing facilities.

Our bright lounge offers a relaxing environment in which to watch television, listen to music, or simply sit quietly.

Bathrooms are fitted with a bath hoist, and passenger lifts provide easy access to all parts of the home.

Our attractive dining room offers a tempting and varied menu of home-cooked food, freshly prepared from local produce where possible. Individual tastes are taken into consideration, and all special diets can be catered for.

We have a small outdoor area with seating for people to use in times of good weather. There is also a car park for visitors, as well as on-street parking close by.

Visiting services include a hairdresser, chiropodist, optician, and clergy.

Entertainment and activities are organised on a regular basis, both in-house and by means of trips out. All residents are encouraged to participate, subject to their needs and abilities.

Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any reasonable time on any day.
