Thornbury Villa is committed to providing person-centered personal care with the consent and agreement of the resident and their family in a dignified, discreet, and sympathetic manner.

Support is provided to enable each resident to make their own decisions regarding their own health care needs, under the guidance of the G.P. and Community Nursing Service.

While Thornbury Villa provides care to residents who require low levels of nursing care, we firmly believe that the short-term needs of persons recovering from an illness, operation, or who are terminally ill should be met within their home, in an environment with which they are familiar.

Thornbury Villa delivers care with the support of the necessary temporary specialist services as required. Nursing supervision is provided by the local community nursing service via the residents G.P.
