Lifestyle
Everyone gets along well together here and enjoys time together in the two communal lounges available. People like to relax in the reclining sofa chairs together and watch TV and movies, as well as listen to music. There is also a communal garden area where people enjoy socialising and catching up about their days.
There is a real mix of personalities at this home; some people prefer alone time, whereas others enjoy activities together. Whether people would like to engage in activities in groups or solo, there are plenty of activities to choose from. People are supported to take part in leisure activities such as discos, visiting friends, meals out, swimming, foot golf, and activities at the leisure centre, including rock climbing, basketball, trampolining, and local walks.
The home is situated on a busy main road and is in very close proximity to the local train station, meaning ease of access to local amenities and leisure activities. Restormel House offers opportunities to individuals that enable them to access work and college placements.
Restormel House also supports people to cook, complete food shopping, budget, and support to complete household tasks such as laundry in order to build on independence.
