What we offer?
Douglas House is situated on a residential street in Plymouth, a close walk from the town and the train station. Each of the four individual en-suite rooms can be decorated according to individual preferences, choices, and sensory needs.
Douglas House features a communal living room, kitchen, and dining room so people can have independence. There is also a patio area for leisure and recreational use so individuals can enjoy the outdoors.
Lifestyle
People at Douglas House are supported to increase independence and are supported with their choices to attend college, events, and activities.
Many people have enjoyed taking part in weekly voluntary work placements, and two individuals gained warden qualifications in fire safety and road safety, which they both passed with flying colours.
People can also enjoy culture nights to explore new cuisine and are encouraged to try new things.
