Family Matters is a family therapy charity aims to support and help families who may be experiencing difficulties with close relationships or demonstrating hurtful or harmful behaviour.

We can be helpful in a range of situations such as:
- communication difficulties
- child and teenage behaviour
- separation
- divorce and step family life
- illness and disability and mental health problems
We offer a confidential space, with professional support, that enables family members to express and explore thoughts and emotions safely, to understand each other's experiences and views, appreciate each other's needs, build on strengths and make useful changes in their relationships and their lives.
Family Matters is a charity and services are free to those young people and their families who use our services. All we ask is that you are registered with a Plymouth GP and have children under the age of 18 years.
