We understand that children will only get the best education when there are strong and respectful relationships between both pupils, staff, parents, and the wider community. We are very proud of the positive relationships that exist at Pilgrim.
We want the pupils in our school to receive a broad range of experiences alongside a high-quality academic education, being inquisitive and active learners with a strong set of moral values. The skills and values of collaboration, respect, ambition, endeavour, responsibility, and thoughtfulness are woven through our curriculum and are central to our ethos.
Our aim is to develop confident young people who have high aspiration, a clear sense of themselves as learners and citizens, and who can contribute positively to their futures and those of others.

Here at Pilgrim we recognise that children learn differently and that many factors can affect achievement and progress. We strive to support children's well being, social and emotional development as well as learning difficulties in an environment where children feel safe so they can flourish.
Plymouth uses an orange 'Local Offer icon' to show services that define themselves as suitable for children and young people with SEND. These are part of Plymouth's SEND Local Offer. We recommend that you contact the service provider to make sure the service is suitable for your child or young person.
