High-quality training is at the heart of everything we do.
Offering a wide range of apprenticeships for young people and upskilling programmes for experienced professionals, we strive to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in the workplace.
Apprenticeships
Most apprentices work between 30-40 hours per week for their chosen employer, with time set aside to attend off-the-job training with us.
We are not a school or college and recognise that the environment does not suit everyone. Our difference is our focus on finding the right path for each individual learner.
We work closely with some of the region's top employers to ensure you receive the most relevant and up-to-date training for your desired career path, providing prestigious apprenticeship placements.
Apprenticeships offer some fantastic benefits that can help launch your career and give you invaluable experience. These include:
- Earn a salary while you achieve your qualifications
- Enjoy paid holidays
- Receive relevant training at a pace that suits you
- Receive on-going support from a dedicated mentor
- Progress more quickly onto higher job levels

At Skills Group we believe that people with disabilities are able to realise their potential as equal and active citizens in control of their lives. This is at the heart of everything we do and is underpinned by our visions, mission and values.
Learners have access to a specialist Learner Support Team who will support them every step of the way throughout their time with us by providing impartial advice and guidance. The team has been specially trained to identify any additional requirements learners may need and help them to succeed. If required, we can offer 1-2-1 support to help learners with their programme.
