We have a very well-equipped baby room for the babies where they can safely explore treasure baskets or strengthen their mobility skills using walkers or the baby gym, for example. The babies are encouraged to develop a set routine of feedings and naps within the regular nursery routine, but this is adapted to suit the child themselves as required. Nappies are changed every 2 hours or sooner if required.

Then there is the toddler and preschool area for the mobile children, with a separate teaching area for the older children (this is where the children get a bit more teaching input from our highly trained practitioners).

There is a large variety of high-quality, fun, and educational learning resources available for the children to freely choose from throughout the day, along with carefully planned activities designed to help them reach their individual learning goals.

There is also a wide selection of art and craft materials available all day for the children to choose from if they wish to be creative or simply to explore and get messy with.

The children love the adaptable home corner that can become a shop, vet, hospital, etc., depending on the children's current interests (which staff plan the activities around).

The children have lots of different resources available for them to 'mark make' in preparation for learning to write at school. This is a very important skill for the children to learn, so resources are always available, no matter where the children are playing.

Children can enjoy playing outside safely in all weather conditions.

Along with the free play, there are set times during the day when the staff carry out carefully planned activities with the children that expand their learning and help them reach their individual goals.

Out-of-school childcare

We care for school aged children up to the age of 12 years.

This includes a breakfast club and an after-school club during term time.

In the holidays, we run a holiday club where we provide lots of fun activities at a specially reduced price.
