We can offer therapeutic interventions to young people aged 5 - 25 years old.

Our main service offered is counselling, however we also run workshops, clubs and offer school interventions, training and consultancy. Our work is aimed at building young people's resilience, allowing them greater emotional understanding and providing them with coping and calming strategies for a successful and bright future.

  •  Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
  • and all other challenges and issues young people find themselves dealing with in the turbulent journey from childhood to adulthood.

Our office is up two flights of stairs on the second floor of the main building with no lift. We understand that this is not accessible to everyone so if you want to discuss this further we are more than happy to work with you to find an alternative space if needed.

We are not always in the office during conventional hours or may be with clients, however we can access our answer machine remotely. If we do not answer the phone please leave us a message and we'll get back to you ASAP, or send us an email.

You do not need a referral to use this service. We accept self-referrals and also referrals from GPs, schools and other agencies. A risk assessment will need to be completed for all services so that we can make sure we are meeting the needs of the young person, YIC staff and all other people using our service.
