This Guidance outlines how the CIT Language Team supports schools/settings at the Universal, Targeted and Specialist levels of the SEND Graduated approach to inclusion. We can be involved at all stages of the assess-plan-do-review cycle.

If your child has special educational needs then a four step action process, which is set out in the SEN Code of Practice, should begin. These four steps are Assess, Plan, Do and Review.

The Plymouth Graduated Approach to inclusion framework for Early Years 0-5 should be used as an electronic tool to support all staff to identify, assess and record the needs of children requiring additional or special educational provision.
