Respect Phoneline is a safe place to reach out if you're experiencing any of the following:

  • Concerns about your behaviour: If you are worried that you're engaging in violent, controlling, or abusive behaviours towards your partner.
  • Seeking support for an abuser: If you are a friend, family member, or frontline worker looking for information and support on how to assist someone who is using harmful behaviours.
  • Looking for Resources: You need assistance in locating resources to help change your behaviour.

  • Individuals in same-sex or heterosexual relationships.
  • Concerned family and friends.
  • Frontline Workers such as support workers, police, and counsellors, assisting abusive individuals
