These sessions are run by Nic Sharpe, who has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, PoTS, and arthritis and has been researching these conditions for the last few years, as there is little support for these conditions locally.
Nic has 30 years experience teaching yoga, breath awareness, and relaxation in the city and can suggest the benefits of these practices for somebody with an HSD/EDS and their carers. Practiced carefully with sensitivity and awareness, these have benefits for the body, mind, and emotional flux to help restore stability and balance.
The sessions take place on the last Saturday of the month, between 11am and 1pm, at the RAAY-Royal Adelaide Art & Yoga CIC, 9 Adelaide Street, Stonehouse, PL1 3JE.
