Trevithick is a supported living service specifically dedicated to providing support to women aged 18+ with learning disabilities and may also have mental health needs and/or other complex needs.

Trevithick offers the people who live there a person centred approach tailored to the needs of the individual. Community participation and involvement is actively encouraged through person centred planning to meet individual goals and aspirations which keep the person safe and happy.
Using a person centred approach the support provided centres on individual need and focuses on developing independence, person-centred life skills, communication, social skills and choice.
What we offer
Trevithick is a supported living service for 3 females living and sharing a house together. Trevithick is a mid-terraced house in central Plymouth, with accommodation spread over four floors. There are two single bedrooms and a double bedroom. The lounge, dining area and garden provide peaceful relaxation areas for people to relax, as well as providing easy community access.
Trevithick promotes community awareness and inclusion through a person centred approach, supporting people to maintain their current links within the Plymouth area and make new links.
The house is situated close to Plymouth City Centre and all local amenities, including GPs, Dentists and a range of social and leisure activities.
Lifestyle
At Trevithick people are supported to take part in a range of activities that can help build on skills and independence. This can be both within the service and in the wider community. Some examples of leisure activities that people have taken part in include swimming, bowling, gardening, cinema trips, meals out at local restaurants.
Staff will also support people in the development of their living skills such as meal preparation, budgeting, cooking and domestic tasks, with a view to being more independent.
Individuals are involved in the recruitment and selection of the staff that support them. People will also be supported to participate in training and awareness workshops in relation to keeping safe, saying no to abuse, speaking out and recruitment.
