Taking Care have provided personal alarm services for the elderly for over 30 years and support over 70,000 customers. The personal alarms are easy to install and use, requiring just a phone line and power socket. However, PPP Taking Care telecare consultants can install the personal alarms in customers' homes on their behalf if requested.
Once installed, the user is automatically connected to the response centre when they press the button on their pendant alarm or wristband. The trained telecare staff can provide support and advice and if necessary, contact keyholders or the emergency services.
Remain independent and in control
When you're used to being in control it's only natural to worry about who to turn to when you need a little reassurance and support.
Your family can't always be around to help, and you may not want to bother them when they are so busy balancing their own lives.
You know they care deeply about you, but other pressures can often get in the way, or maybe they don't live close enough to get to you quickly if something happens and you need assistance.
