Livewell Southwest helps the people of Plymouth to be physically and mentally well, to get better when they are ill and to remain as independent as they can to the end of their lives. In essence, our vision is to support people to be safe, well, and at home.

Adult Speech and Language Therapy - Livewell Southwest

Adult Speech and Language Therapy is the assessment, treatment and management of acquired communication and swallowing disorders in adults over the age of 18, both in community settings (homes and care homes) and in hospital.

AOS (Assertive Outreach Service) - Livewell Southwest

We are a specialised service that engages and works alongside adults who have long and enduring mental health issues, primarily Schizophrenia, who find it difficult to engage with other teams and services.

Our friendly Speech and Language Team is experienced in helping children aged 0-18 who have difficulty speaking clearly, expressing themselves, communicating socially, understanding others, talking fluently, or feeding and swallowing.

The Community CAMHS team supports children, young people and their families from age 5 until their 18th birthday, who are registered with a Plymouth GP and where there are concerns regarding emotional wellbeing and mental ill health.
