Warm and welcoming spaces
Cost of living support
If you are looking for a welcoming space this winter, organisations in Plymouth are opening their doors to the public again.
Community organisations, charities, places of worship, and libraries are providing warm, safe spaces to spend time in. Many offer extras such as free wi-fi, refreshments, and activities.
The map shows each welcoming space and is updated regularly with new venues. Select a venue to find out more details, including opening hours, accessibility information, and any activities on offer.
Remember - if you are struggling, you are not alone, and there is no shame in asking for help. Everyone needs a little bit of extra support at some point in their lives.
Who else can help me?
Wellbeing Hubs
The network of 9 Wellbeing Hubs across the city provides a high-quality offer to support residents of all ages to improve their health and wellbeing, develop new life skills, access advice and support, and take part in community activities.
Anyone can drop in and will be welcomed by friendly teams, who provide support and advice to meet your needs and interests.
Family Hubs
Family Hubs provide families with children aged 0 to 19 (up to 25 for young people with SEND) with support when you need it and in a way that suits you. They are welcoming, safe, and secure spaces where you can meet other families, people from your community and neighbourhood, volunteers, and practitioners from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Libraries
Your local library is a great place to find out what's happening in your community. They provide information, activities, and events, as well as free access to books and computers.
