Our projects, events and activities

Wellbeing Warriors

Wellbeing Warriors is a safe space for children aged 7-13 in Keyham, Plymouth, to come and make friends, have fun, and explore wellbeing using yoga, mindfulness, and other activities like crafts, games, and nature.

Wellbeing Warriors has been running since September 2021. The sessions explore wellbeing, being creative, and making friends through a range of activities that include check-in and check-out, outdoor play time, creative activities, yoga and mindfulness, and chilling down at the end.

The Village Hub's Culture Club

The Village Hub's Culture Club is a monthly safe space to get together to share food, culture, have fun, and meet new friends in Stoke Village, Plymouth. We have a different theme each month and like to work with the changing seasons.

The Village Hub is located at 67 Devonport Road, Stoke Village, Plymouth, PL3 4DL.

Five Ways to Wellbeing

We use the Five Ways to Wellbeing and the Five Ways to Wellbeing for Children and Young People's actions and:

  • Provide opportunities for children, young people, and adults to explore connection
  • Inspire an appetite to always learn
  • Find ways to be physically active for all
  • Encourage curiosity to notice the world around us and ourselves
  • Explore ways to give to others
  • Encourage people to be creative

We do this by working with children, young people, and adults to discover and grow their own strengths, talents, and skills, challenging individuals to try new things, take risks, and create positive habits and actions.

We'll expertly come alongside and facilitate groups or individuals through:

  • Discussion
  • Project-based learning
  • Yoga and mindfulness
  • Supporting access to activities identified as useful or fun
