Working at its main site at Ivybridge, about 11 miles from Plymouth - Dame Hannahs provides learning, care, support and fun for young adults with a range of disabilities, including: Hannahwood - an innovative transition project for older students - therapies and supported activities. Our holistic approach offers professional support from our therapists, educationalists, expert medical staff and a care team.

Adult services at Hannahwood focuses on the transition from adolescence to adulthood, in terms of learning, development, care and education.
We believe that every young person at Dame Hannahs should be able to experience life to the fullest and that our therapy teams are crucial in enabling this to happen. Our multi-disciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists work alongside our nurses, education team, care teams and parents to ensure that every part of a young person's life is as good as it can be so they are able to reach their full potential.
