Join us on our 'Blooming Well' programme to improve your health and wellbeing.
You'll be immersed in nature, have the opportunity to learn more about gardening and growing your own, take part in activities at your own pace, and meet with others who are recovering too.
The benefits of gardening are now well established. It improves physical activity levels, boosts self-confidence and sense of wellbeing, decreases levels of stress and anxiety, lifts mood, and helps to refocus attention when overwhelmed.
We welcome everyone; those who are new to gardening and those who are more experienced.
All materials and refreshments are provided.
We run our 6-week programme in partnership with the Mustard Tree Cancer Support Centre at University Hospitals Plymouth. Sessions are free to attend as part of personalised care in cancer provision. The sessions are delivered by a horticulturalist and Mustard Tree volunteers. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend.
