We aim to provide good quality care and support services, for people aged 18 and upwards, that promote a way of life for service users which permits them to enjoy to the greatest possible extent, their rights as individual human beings in the community.
The team at KSL provides services to people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and associated physical and mental health related conditions; clients with forensic history, substance misuse and challenging behaviour.
The staff support is structured to meet individual requirements. Community participation and involvement is actively encouraged through person centred planning and positive risk assessment to meet individual goals and aspirations which keep the person safe and happy.
We provide services to service users who need support with life skills training, assistance with benefits / bills, accessing professional help and liaison with other agencies, and with personal care.
Our 24 hr. accommodation has staff on- site all day, with sleep - in staff available during the night. This safe environment encourages and promotes people to gain confidence in their lives and promotes decision making and choice through a person centred approach, which is individualised and depending on the specific needs of each person.
