Tops Efford Day Nursery

The nursery provides early education and care for children from 3 months to preschool age and also features a Hi 5's before and after school club for children up to the age of 11.

Tops Efford is fortunate enough to be nestled a stone's throw away from the beautiful Efford Marsh, a breathtaking nature reserve that spans 28 hectares. Tops Forest School children could have the opportunity to explore sensory fields of wild garlic and bluebells and try their hand at tracking badgers or identifying wildflowers and trees.

Our bright open-plan rooms allow children in our care to explore a vast array of natural resources. The children in preschool have free-flow access to our impressive garden space, which features a climbing frame, slide, sandpit, and much more.

At Tops Day Nurseries, our aim is for all children to meet or exceed the expected development for their age. We are implementing 'SchemaPlay' across all of our settings to help narrow the gap for any children showing signs of delay and to also enhance the learning experiences for all children that attend our settings. 'SchemaPlay has recently created a video to help parents understand what schemes are and how they can be identified and promoted at home. 

We respect children and believe that they deserve the best possible start in their journey through life. That is why we ensure that we provide happiness, loving care, and education.

Tops Efford also implements extra-curricular activities in line with the rest of the Tops Day Nurseries family. For example, Tops Cooking School, Boogie Mites, yoga, tooth brushing, football fun, and much more!

Our Efford day nursery is one of the 6 early education and care settings within the Tops Day Nurseries family to open in the Plymouth and Torbay area, following Tops Babbacombe in Torquay, Tops Bretonside in Plymouth City Centre, Tops Efford at DELL Children's Centre, Tops Prince Rock, and Tops Stonehouse near Wyndham Square.
